No libraries came with it. The problem is that, the one that I found on the internet is much more "prettier" than the one available at the library exactly like the datasheet, in a TQFP format, with all pins matching every side.
My question is: is it possible to import the component to my personal library, withou the original. So now I have both microntroller on my schematic: the ugly one from Microchip's Altium library and the neat one from the internet. Paste your components what ever you want to add in library in a schematic opened in project. Do to "Design" menu and Select "make schematic library" 3. It will create a library of the components in schematic and will show attached in project 4. It will display the list of component in your library, you can copy any component you want and paste it in your library.

It only takes a minute to sign up. Just starting out on Altium. I want to start my own library and eventually end with a big library. This is Altium 09 and not the new one with access to the vault.
My option to copy from the library is greyed out, and I have tried several hours trying to get around it with no avail. Also not really anything other than tutorials to be found on the internet! EDIT After realizing that I am also not able to manage 3D models I re-investigated Spehro's comment regarding licensing - that lead to solving my problem! If I recall correctly, Altium will go into kind of a read-only mode if you don't have the appropriate license checked out.
There are two levels of license and only the higher one permits modification of PCB layouts. Check that your network license server is working correctly assuming floating licenses and that you have the correct type of license checked out. After Spehro's comment I navigated to licenses and saw that there is an alternative license available to the one I am using. After releasing the buttom one and selecting to use the top one I am able to copy components between libraries!

I was having difficulty pasting from one library which was from a different project to another. It turned out that the name was the same in both libraries. When I temporarily renamed the destination part it pasted as expected.

For the most part, you will be pulling symbols from different libraries but every now and then you are going to have to build one yourself. But what about creating components that have multiple symbols in them? They are called gates or slots in the industry and in an Altiumthey are called multi-part components.
Altium uses symbols to represent electrical components on the schematic. These components are made up of symbols with component information added to them such as which footprint to use. This information is what makes a symbol become a component in Altium.
To create a symbol manually you will draw the shape of the symbol and add pin information to it. Altium also has a symbol generator which will do much of this work for you. Multi-part symbols are the same symbols in Altiumthe difference is that this is more than one symbol in a component. For instance, you can use a multi-part component to define a resistor pack, a connector, or a gated device.
This is to place specific resistors, connector pins, or gates next to their associated circuit board schematics. As long as your particular company rules allow for this kind of schematic flow to be used, you may find it very helpful in making a cleaner looking schematic. We will use a gated component as an example for building the multi-part component. This same schematic symbol part that you see below, a 74LS04, was also used as an example for the symbol generator.
Here we will see what it looks like when broken into its separate gates. The 74LS04 that we are going to create depicted as a multi-part component. Because I already had the 74LS04 built as a single symbol component, I am giving this new symbol the name of 74LS Now you will want to create the symbol using the same process that you would use for creating any symbol manually.
Remember that you are creating an individual gate and not the entire 74LS04 component. When complete, the symbol should look like the image below.The real-world component that gets mounted on the board is represented as a schematic symbol during design capture, and as a PCB footprint for board design. Note that the pads and component overlay can be seen below the STEP model. Rather than working directly from footprint dimensions, the Wizard uses dimensional information from the component itself, then calculates suitable pad and other footprint properties in accordance with the algorithms released by the IPC.Past lives stories
The generator reads the dimensional data of electronic components from an Excel spreadsheet or comma delimited file then applies the IPC equations to build IPC compliant footprints. Some footprints require pads that have an irregular shape. This can be done using any of the design objects available in the PCB Library Editor, but when doing this, there is an important factor that must be kept in mind.
Create irregular shaped pads by placing multiple objects. Default expansion values are defined by design rules by default, although they can also be specified by the Pad settings contained on the PCB Editor - Defaults page of the Preferences dialog. These settings can be overridden during placement or after placement through the Properties panel.
Main article: Working with Custom Pad Shapes. If only pad objects have been used to build up an irregular shape, the matching irregular mask shape will automatically be generated as an expansion of the pad shape. But if the irregular shape was built up using other objects, such as lines tracksfills, regions, pads, vias, or arcs, the solder and paste masks will need to be configured manually. All object-kinds have a solder mask property, and fill and region objects also have a paste mask expansion property.
If these objects have been placed on the top layer to create a pad shape, then the solder mask property of those objects can be enabled to either obey the applicable design rule, or use a manual expansion value. If fill and region objects have been used to build up a pad shape, then the paste mask can also be enabled as a property of the extra objects. When the mask shape is not correctly created as an expansion or contraction of the set of objects used to create the custom pad shape, then manually defined solder and paste mask expansions can be also achieved by placing lines tracksfills, regions, or arc primitives directly on the corresponding solder or paste mask layer.
The custom button footprint shown below is an example of this. This represents the edge of the solder mask shape protruding by the expansion amount from under the pad.
When a design is transferred, the footprint specified in each component is extracted from the available libraries and placed on the board. Then each pad in the footprint has its net property set to the name of the net connected to that component pin in the schematic. The PCB Editor includes a comprehensive net management tool. Click the Menu button for a menu of options. Click the New Net Name header drop-down to select the net to assign to the unassigned primitives. If you need more than one footprint for the same shape of package supported by Altium IPC footprint wizard you can save the effort and time by using IPC batch generator. Basically batch generator also run Altium IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard from the list of a footprint from your template excel file or files and generate it all with one click. This method allows you to draw a footprint following your own rules and not according to IPC Standards.

And I don't want to add 30 parameters manually each time I create project. There is another project also complete with schematics and PCB layout in which I need to add these parameters. Then I bulk edit all Document parameters of all sheets in the Project. To view the parameters of a different Project I run a second instance of Altium, open the second Project start the Parameter Manager.

Now the long answer: The easiest method to achieve what you are after, is to create a blank template file. This file will contain all of your default setting, parameters, and so on.
After which all you need to do is save it in a template folder of your choice. Do not forget to scroll all the way to the bottom to set the Free Documents defaults, otherwise you will only have your template used when you create a new document within the project. One thing to note is that the document parameters are accessible only within the document, while the project parameters are global to all the documents within the project, therefore parameters such as the ones you have shown in the image will be better suited at a project rather than at the document level.
